About Us

Mark is the founder, President & CEO of Stride Mobility, LLC. Since Stride Mobility’s inception in 2012, Mark has successfully led the company in achieving significant regional and financial growth in the first 5 years of business. Before devoting his work fulltime to Stride Mobility, Mark served as an Executive Hospital Representative for Merck Pharmaceuticals whose clients included Cleveland Clinic, University Hospital, MetroHealth Medical Center. Mark’s entrepreneurial focus is a testimonial to his achievements in the retail, insurance, pharmaceutical and healthcare businesses. Mark sits on the boards of the Ohio Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers, Huron Chamber of Commerce, and the Entrepreneurs Organization’s Cleveland Chapter. In addition, Mark has recently assumed the position within Entrepreneurs Organization as Area Director – US Central Region. Mark finds a work life balance and enjoys hunting, boating, and traveling with his family.

As the Corporate Compliance & Quality Assurance Office for Stride Mobility, Julie brings her 27 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse and most recently as the Staff Educator for Mercy Home Care and a member of the Mission and Values Committee at Mercy Hospital. Quality service and safety is a priority at Stride Mobility and with Julie’s direction, Stride has received high marks on accreditation renewals! Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as traveling and boating. Julie is an active member of St. Mary’s church in Vermillion and delivers communion to nursing homes in her area.

Chief Financial Officer Mike joined Stride Mobility in the role of Chief Financial Officer in April 2021. A graduate of Ohio University and the University of Akron, his career in business began in 2007 at a local public accounting firm, Majkut CPA’s, Ltd., where he eventually joined as Partner in 2014. During his time there he managed a diverse clientele engaged in industries ranging from healthcare, construction, manufacturing, insurance, and charitable organizations. Mike’s experience in developing purposeful, data-driven solutions to his clients in public practice is instrumental in optimizing Stride Mobility’s strategic financial plan and enhancing performance through forecasting and budgeting. Mike has been an active, licensed CPA in Ohio since 2014 and is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and Ohio Society of CPA’s. He has served on the board of directors of the Elyria Rotary Club and was the club’s Treasurer from 2014-2020. Mike enjoys spending his personal time outdoors with family and friends, preferably on the golf course!

With more than 30 years of healthcare experience, Jen serves as Chief Operating Officer for Stride Mobility Group. She provides strategic leadership across the organization, overseeing the people, processes, and systems that support efficient operations and highquality patient care. Overseeing Stride’s Service and CSR Departments, she ensures patients and referral partners receive reliable support throughout the life of their equipment.

Jen earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. Her extensive clinical and operational experience allows her to work closely with physicians, therapists, staff, and insurance partners to help ensure each equipment request moves through the process accurately and efficiently. She also supports the leadership team in resolving complex operational challenges and advancing the company’s continued growth.

Outside of work, Jen enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and cheering on the Guardians. Her sons are her pride and joy

Susie joined Stride Mobility as the Controller in 2023. Susie has over 25 years’ experience in accounting and office management systems. She studied Accounting at Columbus State University and has acted as controller and accounting manager in businesses ranging from manufacturing to real estate development. With a real passion for computers and information technology she has a keen eye for process and systems improvements. Susie enjoys photography, lifting weights in the gym, and The Ohio State Buckeyes football. She is also a huge fan of live music and spends her weekends catching outdoor entertainment wherever she can find it with her family and friends.

Karen brings extensive experience in financial operations, with a strong focus on accounting, accounts receivable, and cash flow management. She has a proven track record of improving financial processes, reducing outstanding receivables, and ensuring accuracy across payroll, reporting, and reconciliation functions. Her work supports operational efficiency and provides clear financial visibility to leadership. Known for her analytical approach and attention to detail, Karen plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity while supporting cross-functional teams and day-to-day operations. Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending her time with family and friends, traveling, and relaxing outdoors.

Tom’s career began in the banking industry as a loan o icer and in mortgage refinancing. His wife, who is a physical therapist, encouraged him to move into the healthcare field. He has now worked in the DME business for over 20 years and has been with Stride Mobility since 2021. Tom is responsible for all purchasing and manages a 4,000 sq ft showroom where he ensures the most updated state-of-the-art equipment is available to meet the needs of our customers. In his spare time, Tom volunteers with his church and the Vermilion Athletic Booster Club. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with his wife, three sons, and friends. He and his family enjoy traveling and hiking, especially to the national and state parks around the country.

Laurel joins Stride Mobility as a member of the clinical intake team. Laurel has 20 years of experience in the healthcare environment as a medical assistant, a DME customer service representative and as an insurance verification specialist. She will work directly with physicians, therapists, and patients to secure critical information to ensure expedited approval of new equipment. Laurel enjoys the outdoors and deer hunting as well as spending her time with husband, two children, one grandchild and her best friend (lab) Jack.

Karen joined Stride Mobility in 2019 as a Customer Service Representative. Karen has worked in the healthcare and DME industry for over 10 years. Prior to her entering the healthcare arena, Karen was the Manager of the bakery department in one of our local grocery stores. Karen loves spending time with her family watching football and baseball as well as going to the games. Karen is the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren.

Tina became a member of the Stride Mobility team in October 2023. She brings 20+ years’ experience working in the healthcare environment. She studied Health Information Technology & Medical terminology at Bowling Green University/Firelands. Her experience expands from medical billing, intake manager for a durable medical equipment company to supervising a physician’s front office staff. Working in concert with providers, clinicians and patients, Tina gained experience in scheduling, billing, auditing insurance claims, inventory and working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software: Modernizing Medicine® and Brightree. Tina enjoys spending time with family whether it be traveling to the beaches of Florida or our local beaches and islands. Tina has three grown children and enjoys gardening and raising chickens.

Brittney joined Stride Mobility in August 2024 as a Customer Service Representative. Brittney brings with her over a decade of experience in customer service and employee benefit administration, excelling in both the healthcare and manufacturing industries. She is proficient in billing, HIPAA compliance, and medical scheduling. Her role in the manufacturing industry included management of Health Benefits for assembly line staff as well as roles in dispatching, invoicing, accounts receivables. Brittney enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to the nearest beach and listening to good music. Brittney has one son that lives in Florida with his wife and daughter, she also has a daughter still at home that is a recent graduate of Ohio University.

Morgan brings a strong background in healthcare administration, human resources, and patient support. She worked across HR, office operations, and Medicaid services to help keep things running smoothly for both staff and patients. With hands-on experience in onboarding, benefits, compliance, and insurance coordination, Morgan is known for being organized, approachable, and detail driven. She enjoys problem-solving, supporting teams, and helping make complex processes easier to navigate. Morgan joins the Stride Mobility intake team, supporting patients and staff throughout the intake process. Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and traveling.

Ana Maria Judd is a seasoned revenue cycle management professional with 17 years of experience in optimizing accounts receivable processes and enhancing client success strategies. She excels in team leadership, medical billing software, and bilingual communication (Spanish and English). She is dedicated to driving innovative solutions that enhance operational performance. Ana enjoys relaxing with her husband and three children, Zach, Mateo, and Luna, going on beach outings and on date nights. She has over 21 years of experience in the DME industry specializing in Complex Rehab equipment that promotes health and independence. Outside of work, she follows football (Go Birds!) and basketball (Miami Heat)!

Chris has joined Stride Mobility as a seasoned professional with considerable experience in business development and the medical industry. She has managed intake and complex rehab orders for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy and timely reimbursements. Chris has a proven track record of delivering timely information to insurance representatives to resolve common and complex issues, generating necessary reports for decision-making processes, and training offshore coworkers to enhance team efficiency. Previously, Chris served as Billing Manager, managing customer service, developing a drop ship program for supplies, and overseeing rehab customer service and intake. As Administrator at another firm, they managed operations, completed Medicare bidding, and trained staff on compliance and customer service. With a business administration background, she brings extensive knowledge and experience to the team.

Sarah Waters joins the revenue cycle team at Stride Mobility with extensive experience in medical billing and coding. She has managed client billings and sales order confirmations as a Confirmation Supervisor and worked as a Billing Specialist and CSR/Data Entry professional, acquiring skills in insurance verifications, data entry, and customer service. She has overseen billing processes for durable medical equipment, using software such as Brightree and Nymbl, and is experienced in verifying insurance benefits, data entry, confirmations, and collections. Sarah is well-versed in Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial billing, and has strong customer service and patient billing inquiry skills, including ICD-10 Coding and Insurance Verifications. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son and two dogs. Baking and going to baseball games are two other leisure activities she enjoys.

Monica is a Senior Account Manager with extensive experience in healthcare billing management who has joined Stride Mobility as a Billing Specialist. Previously, Monica worked remotely on HME software systems, where her responsibilities included client reporting, payer communications, accounts receivable collections, appeals, and team training. She led the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Medicare Accounts Receivable team and competitive bid projects, managed accounts receivable, conducted appeals, and trained staff in billing and coding procedures. In her role as Billing Manager, she supervised accounts receivable collections and provided training to retail store employees. Monica is proficient in using various software systems. Her professional focus is on improving collection outcomes and maintaining consistent cash flow for clients. In her leisure time, Monica enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and going to the beach.
